Insurance Coverage
As nearly everyone knows these days, health insurance coverage is one of the most complicated and constantly changing subjects. Adding to the complexity is the fact that few health insurers cover many of the costs of infertility treatments, and when they do, the benefits can range widely.
Therefore, the important question is: What benefits do I have for infertility?
Most insurance companies have dozens or even hundreds of plans to offer employers, each with different benefits. Anyone wanting fertility help should investigate his or her individual coverage before choosing a physician or center based solely on insurance participation. Also, it’s wise to check directly with the insurer or your employer’s human resources department. Lastly, it might be wise to keep fertility coverage in mind when your employer offers a choice of health care plans during annual enrollment periods, usually at the end of each calendar or company fiscal year.
Below are the insurers and types of plans with which REACH has agreements and participates in. However, this information is subject to change without notice. Therefore, each patient is wise to research his or her plan coverage extensively in advance either online or by calling the insurer or benefits representative, or both.

Congrats to Dr. Richard Wing, Dr. Daniel Whitesides, and Dr. Nancy Teaff

These three REACH physicians were named Charlotte Magazine’s “Top Doctors” in the July 2010 issue. This annual peer-recommended roster of 276 physicians in 60 specialties is among the highest acknowledgement for any physician. Charlotte Magazine asked local physicians whom they would send their loved ones to if they were in need of medical attention. Congratulations Drs. Wing, Whitesides, and Teaff!
