For Professionals
Infertility Referral & Satellite Program
At REACH, we see our referral program as a two-way street. Yes, we welcome patient referrals from other physicians; just as importantly, we also strive to share clinical knowledge and advancements with our medical colleagues.
Fellow physicians, scientists and nurses are our strongest allies in educating and helping patients. We feel a strong obligation to help them help others.
In this regard, REACH has worked to bring assisted reproductive technology (ART) services to rural and outlying areas of North Carolina, creating a satellite network of partner clinics. Should patients in areas outside of Charlotte have needs for infertility treatment, network doctors and nurses work closely with the reproductive endocrinologists at REACH to develop a treatment plan and coordinate care.
Rather than traveling to Charlotte for every visit, these clinics can perform weekly check-ups, administer medication and manage the progress of IVF treatment before egg retrieval or embryo transfer in Charlotte.
Physicians and nurses participating in the network receive ongoing training from REACH physicians to stay current on the latest advances in ART and infertility treatments.
REACH combines technology and expertise to provide every conceivable chance for success. Our team of award-winning medical professionals routinely sets the standard for excellence in endocrinology and reproductive medicine. When couples partner with our nationally-renowned physicians who serve the Carolinas and beyond, families happen.
Lastly, REACH is proud to belong to the IntegraMed network of 30 fertility centers in 95 locations across the United States. Thanks to our participation in the network, we are able to offer patients such singular benefits as the Shared Risk financing program, offering up to six IVF cycles for a fixed fee, with a refund to each patient who does not take home a baby (made available to qualified applicants). IntegraMed practices collectively account for more than 5,000 births each year. Nearly one in four IVF procedures in the United States is performed in an IntegraMed center.
